The Queer Archive – Queer Fashion Film Award is an annual distinction presented at A Shaded View on Fashion Film Festival (ASVOFF) in Paris. Established as part of The Queer Archive’s broader engagement with moving image culture, the award recognizes outstanding work at the intersection of queer identity and fashion cinema.

The award is intended to highlight short films that approach fashion not only as aesthetic expression but as a space for critical reflection on gender, identity, and representation. Emphasizing originality, authorship, and conceptual depth, the selected works often challenge normative visual languages within both fashion and film.

Through this initiative, The Queer Archive extends its curatorial and cultural role beyond the gallery and into the international festival circuit, supporting filmmakers who explore fashion as a medium of queer storytelling and visual experimentation.
